Grama Panchayat President Geena Cyriac stated that Kadaplamattom Grama Panchayat should be transformed into a drug-free panchayat with the cooperation of the general public. The President was speaking after performing the flag-hoisting ceremony as part of the panchayat-level inauguration of 'Toofan Warrior - The Narco Hunt 2.0'.

Following this, Marangattupilly Police Station Chief Saju presented the 'Toofan Warrior' bands to the public representatives. Police officer George conducted an anti-drug awareness class.
