Panchayat Geography
The Panchayat area lies at an elevation ranging from 11 meters to 141 meters above sea level and falls within the midland geographical zone. The terrain is characterized by moderately sloping lands, hilly areas, valleys, marshy lands along riverbanks, and paddy fields with alluvial soil. In the higher regions, laterite rock and gravelly soil are commonly found.
According to a survey conducted in 2004, the Panchayat had 2,383 wells, 149 ponds, and 27 streams of varying sizes. Hills are relatively few in number, and there are no forest areas. Most of the wells, streams, and ponds dry up during the summer season.
