As part of the monsoon preparedness measures within the limits of Kadaplamattom Grama Panchayat, trees or tree branches owned by private individuals that pose a threat to life and property must be cut and removed. It is the responsibility of the respective owners to cut down and remove trees/branches that hazardously overhang roads, houses, or electric lines.
Failure to comply with this directive will result in strict action under Section 238(1)(A) of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, and the Disaster Management Act, 2005. Additionally, it is informed that owners must clean their houses and premises at their own responsibility to prevent infectious diseases and avoid the menace of reptiles/crawling creatures.
